Ben Stiller and Chris Rock are back as Alex the Lion and Marty the Zebra in Madagascar.

Emmy Award winner Ben Stiller is a prolific actor, director, producer and writer who continues to make his unique mark on film, TV and stage.

The son of legendary comedians Jerry Stiller (George Costanza’s dad on Seinfeld) and Anne Meara, Ben and his sister were doing their own versions of classic plays when he was six, and by age 10 he was directing and shooting movies on a Super 8 camera with his friends, remaking his favourite movies like Jaws and Planet of the Apes.

His critically acclaimed box office successes include Reality Bites, The Cable Guy, Zoolander, Meet The Parents, its sequel Meet The Fockers, There’s Something About Mary, Dodgeball and Starsky & Hutch.

This year’s smash-hit action comedy Tropic Thunder saw Ben star opposite Robert Downey Jr and Jack Black, as well as being co-writer, director and producer. He’s just finished production on Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian, the sequel to the 2006 smash-hit.

Critically acclaimed and award-winning comedian Chris Rock continues to sell out stand-up shows around the world, even breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest audience ever at a comedy show in the UK.

After Chris’s early stand-up success he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 1989, and since then has gone on to make several successful TV specials. He’s also had major success in movies, most recently appearing as the mosquito in Jerry Seinfeld’s animated Bee Movie; he wrote, directed and starred in I Think I Love My Wife; made his directorial debut with Head of State, which debuted at #1 at the US xox office; and co-starred with Adam Sandler in The Longest Yard. Plus, he’s a best selling author and successful recording artist.

Madagascar was the #1 family movie of 2005, and Ben and Chris reprise their roles of Alex the Lion and Marty the Zebra, joining Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer and Sacha Baron Cohen in the eagerly awaited sequel Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa opens in cinemas in QLD, NT and SA on December 11 and other Australian states and New Zealand on December 18.
