2002 was a big year for Mark: he did his first gig in the UK and the same year won the (UK) Daily Telegraph Open Mic competition. He’s since gone on to become one of the UK’s most popular comics and earned a legion of fans in Australia through his appearances to packed houses at the last three Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, and in gigs in Sydney and Adelaide in 2008. He’s proved a fave on TV shows like the Comedy Festival Gala, Rove, Spicks & Specks and JTV.
Mark’s also written two novels – Bullet Points and A Light-Hearted Look at Murder, and his most recent book Crap At The Environment follows his efforts to halve his carbon footprint over the course of one year.
Mark returns to Australia with his brilliant new show Can I Briefly Talk To You About The Point Of Life?, playing at the Playhouse Theatre Perth from 3rd to 9th November. Click here for ticketing info, and visit Mark’s official website at http://markwatsonthecomedian.com/
