Sam Sparro
Sam Sparro is colourful, outspoken, a superb singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and has what it takes to become a household name.
Born in Sydney and based in LA since he was 10, Sparro's flying start to world success has been well nurtured by his musical family. His parents are musicians, and his grandfather is Ron Falson, a professional Australian trumpet player who once performed with jazz greats Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.
Sam's singing talent was first discovered at a church that both he and R&B legend Chaka Khan attended, with Chaka Khan most famously stating, “Damn that white boy can sing!”. Fast-forward to 2007 when a fierce bidding war began, now Sparro has just hatched his debut album 'Sam Sparro' featuring the hit single 'Black & Gold' - the hit set to propel him to chart stardom. Sam Sparro is performing 'Black & Gold' live on Rove, and is sure to have the audience soaring toward an astral state of aural euphoria!
