Jack Black
Hollywood star of hit films School of Rock, Shallow Hal and King Kong, Jack is also lead singer of the world's most awesome band - Tenacious D.
As a kid, Jack Black used to hide wires in his clothes and let them "accidentally" fall out to make people think he was a robot. Ironically, as a grown up Jack Black is known for his ability to inject a genuine human element into the characters he portrays on screen.
An Atari ad at 13 gave him a taste for showbiz, and his feature film debut in Tim Robbins' 'Bob Roberts' put his acting career on track.
A scene-stealing performance as the sarcastic music store employee in High Fidelity won over audiences, and box office smashes like School Of Rock, Shallow Hal and King Kong made him one of Hollywood's most loved stars.
He's also lead singer of the most awesome band in the world – Tenacious D. Jack's latest role is as a kung fu loving Panda in the animated flick Kung Fu Panda, in cinemas 26th June. Check it out on the
Kung Fu Panda website.
