Snow Patrol on Rove, Sunday 16th November 2008

Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol started out 14 years ago as a student band at Dundee University.

Following their #1 multi-platinum album Eyes Open, which spawned the single Chasing Cars, the Glasgow five-piece Snow Patrol returns with their fifth studio album A Hundred Million Suns.

Before 2006's Eyes Open, Snow Patrol were relatively unknown, despite being together since 1994. Then Chasing Cars happened and the world discovered just how great this band is. The single's constant radio play catapulted Snow Patrol into mainstream success. Now their fifth album, A Hundred Million Suns, is replicating that success.

Australia has shown Snow Patrol a lot of love in the past by snapping up huge quantities of their last album. Now the band are giving back, with a quick trip down under to show fans some love. The dream is real, the dream is happening and Snow Patrol will be in studio performing the hit single Take Back The City LIVE on Rove!
